Why Confidence is Important? If you want to know why confidence is important, and learn how to build self-confidence, read the full article to get the answer to your question.  The article is divided into two parts : 1. The first part will tell you,  "Why confidence is important". 2. The second part will tell you,  "How to build self-confidence." You can also skip to the second part directly if you just want to learn to build confidence. Why is confidence important : 1. What is confidence? People often relate confidence with self-esteem. But confidence is not self-esteem. Self-esteem is basically 'liking yourself'' or 'loving your own values' and confidence is 'being sure' about liking yourself or about yourself.  Self-confidence is the trust in oneself. It is the feeling that you are sure about your abilities or skills. Or it can be said that confidence is 'trusting yourself'. You can have a high level of self-esteem with a lack ...

LIFE IS A PROBLEM

Life is a problem.

LIFE IS A PROBLEM

There was a man who was not happy in his life because of the problems he faced. He heard that in a nearby village, lived a man named Buddha who is a great teacher and has the solution to his all problems. The man decided to meet Buddha so that he can have a solution to his problems.

When the man met Buddha, he told him that he is a farmer who don't earn too much money. The man said to Buddha, "I have many problems in life." Buddha was listening to him. He said, "I like farming. But sometimes my crops fail because it doesn't rain enough. Last year, we nearly starved. Sometimes it rains too much that my yields aren't what I like them to be." Buddha patiently listened to the man.

"I'm married too." Said the man, "I have a good wife. But sometimes she nags me too much and sometimes, I get tired of all this." The Buddha listened quietly without speaking a word. "I have kids." Said the man, "They are good kids too. But sometimes they don't give me enough respect and sometimes they don't listen to me. And sometimes," The man went on like this, telling all of his problems and worries he was overthinking about to Buddha.

Finally, after he finished telling all of his problems to Buddha, he stopped speaking and waited for Buddha to reply and tell him the solution to all of his problems and worries. Instead, the Buddha said, "I can't help you." The man was surprised. "What do you mean?" Said the man. "Everybody's got problems." Said the Buddha, "In fact, we've all got 83 problems. Each one of us. There are 83 problems and there is nothing you can do about it. If you work hard on any one of them, maybe you can fix it. But if you do, another one will pop up right into its place. For example, you're going to lose your loved ones eventually. And you'll die someday. Now, there's a problem and there's nothing you or I, or anyone else can do about it."

Buddha quote on problems

The man became furious. "I thought you were a great teacher." The man shouted, "I thought you could help me! What good are your teachings then?" The Buddha said, "Maybe they can help you with the 84th problem." The man said, "The 84th problem? What is the 84th problem?" The Buddha said, "The 84th problem is that you want to not have any problems."

A NEVER-ENDING LOOP.

The story of Buddha gives us the message that problems are a part of life. Problems are constant, and they will be with you till your last breath. People want to solve all of their life problems. People want a life that has no problems and worries. But that is impossible to achieve. Why is that so?

There is a loop of problems around us. This was written by Mark Manson in his book "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" and what he said was - problems don't end. One problem just gets replaced by another. For example, if you have health problems, you decide to join the gym to get in share and be healthy. This will solve the problem of health but you will eventually have other new problems, such as waking up early and pushing yourself through to the hard workout and then consuming healthy food.

LIFE IS A PROBLEM

This is the "Never-ending Loop of Problems". When you try to solve a problem in your life, you will create new problems for yourself - worse or better.

PROBLEM-SOLVING HAPPINESS.

How does it feel when you complete the long assignment you were working on the whole day? How do you feel when your exams are over? Don't you feel happy at that time? I feel very happy after exams because they are a problem for me.

Whenever you solve a problem - big or small - you get a feeling of satisfaction and happiness. People want that, right? People want to solve their problems so that they can get rid of them and be happy and satisfied. But people want to get rid of every problem in life. If you get rid of every problem, what problem will be left to solve? And if there's no problem, how will you be happy?

It's always better to hope for better problems. See, becoming rich is hard and has problems along the way, but at the same time, staying poor is hard and has its problems. The choice is yours - you can choose your problems.

A LIFE OF NO PROBLEM.

Let's assume that you got a life that has no problems. I mean, you don't have even a single, smallest problem. Think about it yourself, what will you do then? Will there be a meaning or a reason to do anything? You will not do anything if you don't have anything to solve because if you do, what will you get?

Speaking philosophically, Life is not a problem to be solved, but a reality to be experienced. If you want to have a life without any problems - a life full of solutions and no worries and difficulties - listen to me. Dr. Jordan B. Peterson, a famous psychologist once said in his speech, "If something doesn't exist, then its opposite doesn't exist as well. Which means, if there are no worries, then happiness will not exist."

LIFE IS A PROBLEM

If you want to get rid of all of your worries and difficulties, you will eventually create more worries and difficulties for yourself which did not even exist in the first place. You will start worrying about - not worrying about your problems.

In your life, it is never a straight path. Life is a roller-coaster ride. You will have problems all along the way, and as I said you will create new problems. So, it's better to accept the reality of life and try to solve your problems and not have a problem-free life but a life with better problems. Nothing is perfect.
